    The Immigrant Dignity Coalition will gather at the Clifton Mosque (3668 Clifton Ave, 45220 near bus routes 17, 19, 51) to share updates and action steps to address the issues of detention and deportation, bullying and harassment and immigrant rights.

    Every-other month, IJPC's Immigration Learning Community (formerly the Immigration Committee) will come together to learn about, discuss, and act on issues facing the immigrant community. In August, come learn about the hurdles to assisting minors who immigrate to the United States unaccompanied.

  • Immigrant Dignity Coalition: Bullying Committee

    Immigrants and refugees are being targeted and bullied because of their legal status,  language, religion, culture, and many other things. Join members of the Immigrant Dignity Coalition as we discuss how to equip immigrant families with information on how to protect themselves and others from bullying and harassment.

  • Defend DACA & Pass the DREAM Act Rally

    On September 5th, 2017, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the rescinding of DACA through a 6 month wind down of the program. This puts pressure to Congress to pass the DREAM Act. On September 5th, join IJPC, YES and our partners to show support for the immigrant community in a public way and to let those in fear to know they are not alone and there are many who stand on the side of our immigrant neighbors.

  • September YES Meeting

    IJPC's YES (Youth Educating Society) Program is youth-led for immigrants and their allies in high school and college. This meeting will focus on how YES members can respond to DACA's September 5th deadline for court action.

  • FYI: Volunteer Training for MARCC IDs

    The MARCC ID is a community photo ID that anyone can sign up for. The IDs have been useful for the undocumented community, people experiencing homelessness and those returning from being incarcerated. Su Casa & Catholic Charities are the organizations running the registration events and they need your help! This fall, Su Casa plans to have more community ID drives and they need volunteers like you to help make the process go smoothly.

      Residents seeking to obtain the MARCC ID card need to provide the following information: --Photo ID (expired driver’s license, national ID card, passport, marticula or other embassy ID) --Proof of residency with current address (utility bill, current rent agreement, medical record, bank statement) --$15.00 (cash) NOTE: There are two sessions – 12:30-1:30 and 2:30-3:30
