Shane Claiborne: Love, Awareness and Our Justice System

“Justice is what love looks like in public”. Join with activist and bestselling author Shane Claiborne to reimagine sacred ways to subvert America’s practice of the death penalty. Explore how we might structure justice rooted in love rather than vengeance. Shane is founder of Simple Way intentional Christian community and author of a number of books including his latest, Executing Grace: How the Death Penalty Killed Jesus and Why it’s Killing Us. This two hour event is co-hosted by the AMOS Project and will include lecture, guided contemplation, and conversation.

Location:  Upstairs in Urban Artifact’s sanctuary, 1660 Blue Rock St, Northside

Time:  6-8pm followed by an open house with the author, next door at The Hive, 1662 Blue Rock St..

Cost: Minimum $5 donation. 50% of all donations over $10 go to Ohioans To Stop Executions (OTSE).
