Nonviolence Action Training
April 30, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 4:30 pm
We know that people have been more engaged in hitting the streets about causes they care about! We couldn’t be happier but know that people need to be equipped with the tools needed to ensure that they can respond nonviolently.
Join Program Manager, Andrea Koverman and activist and educator Peggy Gish for a Nonviolence Action Training. You will walk out of this afternoon session knowing how to speak truth to power, deal with fear in conflict, develop an effective campaign and understand/prepare for civil disobedience should you make that choice. Through an engaging presentation, role play and discussion, we are confident you will be well equipped to remain committed to nonviolent direct action.
Cost is $20.00 per person. Register at the ticket link. Email andrea@IJPCcincinnati.org for more information or questions. We will have some scholarships in case cost is prohibitive. Please share with your network.
