International Children’s Day

International Children’s Day is a celebration of multiculturalism and diversity. This event provides meaningful opportunities for children to engage, play, learn, and uphold joy, while also empowering children to act. In addition to upholding children’s fundamental right to joy and safety, attendees will also have opportunities to learn about barriers to children’s rights, including systemic exploitation and state-sanctioned violence.
The event includes tables with a children’s crafts hosted by Ignite Peace, Greater Cincinnati Homeless Coalition and more, performances by Bi-Okoto African Dance and Drumming, Firkat Al Sham Palestinian Dabke, World Master Sen Gao, and Ohio Wushu Academy. Information art installations and story walks will also be available.
