Peace Potluck
Share food with neighbors and practice nonviolent intervention.
We’re shifting the energy of our Peace Potlucks to build community and create space to engage with one another. Our hope is for people to meet their neighbors, to provide space for new folks coming into social justice spaces, and to share some practical nonviolence skills and resources.
At our next peace potluck we will spend time sharing food and getting to know one another and then practice nonviolent interventions for some of the frightening and infuriating situations we see unfolding across our country. We know that practice like this allows us to be better prepared to respond when we see constituents being forcibly dragged out of a town meeting or unmarked agents attempting to illegally snatch someone off the street.
