Nominate a Local Peace Builder
Nominations are open until August 26th for the IJPC Bob Maxwell Peace Builder Award and the IJPC Youth Justice Award.
Both awards will be presented at IJPC’s Annual Gathering, Radical Compassion: From Individual Mercy to Systemic Change, on October 6, 2022.
The IJPC Bob Maxwell Peace Builder Award was established in 2017 in honor of Robert “Bob” Maxwell who passed away in 2016 and who was a steadfast supporter of the work of IJPC. The Bob Maxwell Peace Builder Award recipients are distinguished by giving public witness to justice issues to bring about peace. They have contributed to building understanding, collaboration, and trust in Greater Cincinnati, while holding the belief that peace is possible.
To nominate someone, fill out this Google Form by August 26, 2022.
The IJPC Youth Justice Award will be given to a club, group, or extracurricular program of high school students who have made a dedicated effort to promote justice in Greater Cincinnati. The winner will receive the award as part of IJPC’s Annual Gathering on Thursday, October 6, 2022. In addition to the recognition, a $500 award will be given to the group.
