The workshop aims to identify concrete proposals to address police violence; to plan effective, joint strategies for promoting criminal justice reforms at state/local levels; and to share best practices for raising consciousness about racial justice issues.

    The peace committee will host a memorial for all civilian casualties of war on Tuesday, August 9th at 7:30 PM to commemorate the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This vigil will be held at the World Peace Bell and feature a candle vigil, remembrance circle, peace messaging and peace cranes. All are invited to attend.
